I had a lot to catch up on BEFORE I went to St. Louis for 2 days!!! Backed up even further now and thinking of taking on a new project--what AM I thinking! Still, work has slowed down and money is tight, so it may be a necessary rather than an option!

Anyway, had a nice time at my friend Fanny's, hearing more Jameson stories and looking at old photographs. Got to sleep in Cousin Bettie's bed, though since it was her 'guest bed,' not sure how much time she actually spent sleeping in it! The auction itself was sort of a dud this month--the only thing I bought were some German champagne glasses for $5--a deal--but everything else I bid on got snatched away. I did visit some new antique malls before heading home on Thursday, and found some stuff to put in the Labor Day weekend sale. I'm trying to get my PR ready to go out the door, and hoping maybe some paper will pick it up for free! Otherwise, we're doing postcards and flyers and I may get a banner for the house...

Managed to get very little work done today, because we had rooms to do, but tonight only 1 couple which really sucks--I guess because it's back to school time. Seems like so much revolves around 'family' here. So I guess it'll be slow for a bit, but sure wish it would pick up, and hope the sale turns out ok. I'm looking forward to it, anyway...
