I try to put it off for as long as I can, but I suppose I'm going to have to do some ironing tonight. The sheets are piling up--well, not that big of piles, because it's been SO slow lately. June was great, but July has been terrible. I hope it picks up in August! Anyway, I don't really mind ironing if I have a good movie to watch, but I'm not sure about tonight's...Running With Scissors. I'll give it a try, anyway...

Tomorrow we have a bridal luncheon scheduled, so the day will be a bit busy, but only 1 couple booked for tomorrow night. Bummer! Guess I have no excuse for not getting some work done in the afternoon, though I thought I would today and still didn't get much done. I had to write an article for Sunday's Kingdom Notes in our local paper, about the upcoming 'Melon Party' -- well, actually it was about the one held 121 years ago! Ours will be next Friday! We're re-creating it based on an article I read when it was originally held. So yeah--I did some writing today!!!

There's a breeze out and it's relatively nice outside right now. Hot, but not too hot. I'm enjoying the back porch, before I head in to do my domestic work... [work]
