I forgot to blog yesterday, probably because I was gone all day. I ended up driving to St. Louis for a writers group meeting when I had spoken last month. They had a guy in who I 'thought' was going to talk about making it as a writer in a 'media' environment. I assumed this meant he was going to talk about how to use media to sell yourself, but it ended up being more generic and how you have more opportunities to write with the Internet. Anyway, his talk was good, just not what I had hoped it would be...

After the meeting, I went to a nearby antique mall and spent about 2 1/2 hours there--it was a good one and I found lots of buttons! All were actually very reasonably priced. I found some really old ones in good shape too.

Speaking of, I had my first sale on ETSY today. I was VERY excited. I sold a pair of navy button earrings. Hope it's the first of many more! Next week is the Parlor Sale too, so maybe I'll sell a lot there as well...

Anyway, spent most of today at home--I'm reading pages for A TEXAS BOUNTY to get it set up for POD. I'm finding lots of stuff to fix, unfortunately, so it isn't going fast. But at least I'm finally getting it done...

I may go to Columbia tomorrow--I need to get to the bank. As usual, a busy week ahead...
