Besides working on getting a manuscript out the door this week, I spent a good bit of time updating my web site, crdodson.com, which I rarely do, to my embarrassment. Anyway, you can now check it out and read about my new book and also see some new links I've added. Other than that, I didn't do much. The site really needs to be reworked, which I'm planning on doing soon, though unfortunately I have to have 'help' in that arena! It's a bit 'showy' I think, if that makes any sense, maybe too much girlyness there. So, will try to bring that down a bit...

Today I went to an interesting afternoon social time. Some ladies in town who used to be a 'needlework guild,' but now they meet mostly to just visit and talk about things they're working on. Today's 'theme' was toys so I brought my Chatty Cathy dolls. I actually enjoyed it--everyone shared pretty evenly and people brought some neat stuff--a Taco Bell dog, an old tea set, old China dolls, and even a little windup orchestra! Fun!

I'm making good progress on getting this book out the door...tomorrow for sure...it will be gone. In the meantime, it's time for a glass of wine and some down time on the porch. Till tomorrow...
