I'm sitting on the porch with a cup of hot tea watching a light rain fall and hoping someone will show up to the sale today. So far no one has, but Jim posted it at 12 instead of 1, so maybe no one realizes it's happening this early. Won't be tragic if no one does show up, because I'll be sitting here getting some writing or editing done. And it's nice out--not too hot or cold, just right.

Jim has gone off to Columbia to see if he can salvage any of the information from his hard drive, which is going to have to be replaced. This is pretty bad news, since he hadn't backed up in a while, and pretty much everything he's done since he bought it, including my latest book design, was one this. So...not good. Hopefully he'll be able to get at least some of the stuff off it before they replace the new one.

I think while I'm sitting here I'll post some new jewelry too. I've not made over 80 pieces, pretty neat! A local jewelry store is carrying them too, so that's nice. Now I just need to figure out where to get my booth and maybe I'll make some extra $$$ this way.

Anyway, that's it for me in general. It's a slow weekend here, only 1 room booked all weekend. Arghh!!! But a friend is coming next week from Santa Fe--I met her in LA and she used to be a producer, so should be really fun catching up with her! Ta-ta for now....
