Seeing as we haven't had one of these in a while, we're sticking close to home and enjoying a bit of 'down' time, even though we do have a full house this weekend. They're here for a wedding mostly, and off doing other things, so I've been taking advantage of a quiet morning to catch up on the writing I didn't get done yesterday! As I result, I got 9 pages done--yeah! I'm pretty happy with the book, but also very curious at times to see exactly where it's heading!!

Yesterday I had lunch with the creative writing instructor at William Woods, who's graciously agreed to help me with Well Versed again this year. Then I went o Jeff City to check on my booth and do a little shopping. I was looking for B&B stuff and didn't have much luck--but I have almost paid my rent on the booth! One more dollar and the rest of the month is profit!! Yeah!

Right now the cats are curled up on the bed...except for Pitty Pat, who's under it, where she always heads when it thunders! A nice cozy way to spend the day--except I'll have to get up soon get ready for the wedding party to come over and take photos. Alas!!
