Today I got back to my book, Middle River. I'm almost through with the revising stage and tomorrow I expect to be able to actually write some new pages. I'm excited! Somehow, I've found a new burst of creative energy and I hope I can keep it intact. It's probably Fall, my best time of year, except this Fall really isn't up to par, because we're supposed to hit 90 degrees again on Friday. Yuk--this is the Midwest, we're supposed to actually have seasons here!!
I also worked on the courseware project some more, but am going to have to change gears because the text isn't jiving with the objectives. That's ok, as long as I know it's not just me and it's something the publisher needs to resolve!
We had a dinner tonight for our guests--they leave tomorrow after being here for 3 nights...really nice people though!
Speaking of, I forgot to relate a really funny story about my cat the other night. Boodle, my Siamese, came trotting into the kitchen yesterday with one of my mink hats (a gift from my friend in LA for my tea parties!) in his MOUTH! It was hilarious!! He carried it into his little 'house' and plopped down on it! We had to take it away, because we didn't want him gnawing on it, but he looked so funny carrying that hat in from the foyer!
And speaking of the foyer...I'm still talking to HGTV about doing the show here for 'IF WALLS COULD TALK.' I probably won't know for sure for a while, because it has to go on to producers now. But I really hope it happens--would be really cool for us AND for Fulton!
Anyway, that's the long and short of my day...
