Finally, it's about time, and all that! Not sure why, but I'm actually getting work done this week AND writing. Today, I officially wrote new pages on my MR book. Yeah!!! It's nice to be at that point, putting new scenes on paper instead of just revising and editing. I'm really hoping I can move this book along now--it's exciting! And I even got some 'real' work done too!

I'm about to take a break now and work on my jewelry for a while. I need to get some more made for a shop I want to display it at, and also the store downtown wants some more pieces as well. So that's exciting too! Plus, I'm staring to get a backup of pieces to be made, and space for storing them here is limited!

We had a guy out today to talk about closing in the screened porch--we'd keep it with windows, of course, but could certainly use it more. We also talked to him about adding a cottage-type building on to the garage. I found some adorable ones online. We'd either live in this, or use it as an extended rental if we could make more money that way. Since we didn't do the tea room route, we've decided to try and do some expansion on this place. I'd still like to get a new vehicle too, but we'll just have to see how all this comes together... I'm sure it won't be cheap. But there's so much space here, and in the end, developing it can only be a good thing in the long run...

Anyway, that's pretty much it for my day. I did take a bike ride, which was nice, but since it's still hot here, it was also warm. Will FALL never arrive????
